Financial Aid Now Available!
Applications must be received by March 28, 2008.
Allowing students to be challenged academically while experiencing a taste of life in a college setting.
Duke TIP Scholar Weekends provide opportunities for academically talented students in grades 8–11 to take short courses during weekend programs taught by University of Kansas faculty and instructors. Courses introduce topics that might not be available in students’ local schools and help students define pathways to college majors and careers. In addition, they provide a glimpse into the collegiate experience and an opportunity for students to interact with similarly motivated students.
Limited need-based financial aid awards in the amount of $100 are available on a first-come, first-served basis to qualified families. Each student may receive financial aid only one during the academic year.
To apply for financial aid, submit your application with a copy of your family’s 2006 or 2007 Federal Income Tax Return (1040). You are advised to "black out" social security numbers. Upon notification of your financial aid award, your check or credit card payment for the balance of the tuition is due within ten business days unless other arrangements are made with the program manager. If your payment is not received, or other arrangements made within that time, your financial aid program slot may be offered to another student.
