Dear Colleagues,
On behalf of the Research Excellence in GI and Liver (REGAL) Award Steering Committee, I would like to thank the hundreds of applicants and their faculty sponsors who have participated in the REGAL Awards program.
The REGAL Awards will not be held in 2007, but we look forward to a 2008 Awards Program and will keep you informed about next year’s application process.
Over the past five years of the program, 95 outstanding young investigators have been recognized and have receive nearly half a million dollars in REGAL Awards. We greatly appreciate sponsorship of the REGAL Awards from University of Kansas Office of CME, and from our past corporate sponsors, PriCara, Unit of Ortho-McNeil, Centocor, Inc; InScope, a division of Ethicon Endo Surgery, Inc; Ortho-Biotech Products, LP; and Therakos, Inc.
Sincerely,
Stephen T Mosley,
