How do I purchase my textbooks?

For current prices and to order online, go to www.kubookstore.com. Or use the PDF version to print and mail in your order. You should receive your texts in
10–15 working days in a separate mailing from the KU Bookstore. If your textbooks have not arrived within three weeks after your order, please contact the bookstore.

To purchase in person, visit the KU Bookstore on the Lawrence campus. Ask for assistance to locate the Independent Study section.

Within six weeks of purchase you may request a full refund from the KU Bookstore for new or used Independent Study texts. You must present your bookstore receipt to get a refund. The current KU Bookstore refund policy regarding book condition applies; see the KU Bookstore website for details.

What materials are included with my enrollment fees?

Your materials fee includes your study guide, cover sheets, exam request envelopes, and any other course-related materials. Textbooks are not included in the materials fee.

How and when do I receive my materials?

You should receive course materials within 7-10 days of enrollment. Materials will be sent to the mailing address provided on the enrollment form.
