The writing assignment for lesson 2 may not be submitted until the writing assignment for lesson 1 has been returned. Thereafter, you may submit lessons without waiting for previous ones to be returned.

Lessons covered on midcourse: 1–6
The first 6 writing assignments must be submitted and returned before you
may apply to take the midcourse exam.

Aids allowed for final: none
Lessons covered on final: comprehensive, with emphasis on lessons 7–11.
Before you apply for the final exam, you must have completed and received
your grade for the midcourse exam and all the writing assignments must be completed
and returned to you.
Course grading formula:
writing assignments = 60%
midcourse exam = 15%
final exam = 25%
You must pass the final exam to pass the course. The above formula applies only if you pass the final.
