Geology
An introduction to the physical and biological history of the earth, the methods used to decipher earth history, and the development of the geological sciences. This course with GEOL 103 satisfies the College laboratory science requirement. Concurrent enrollment in GEOL 103 is recommended for students taking both. Not open to students who have taken GEOL 106 or GEOL 304. Optional e-mail assignment submission. Twelve written assignments; midcourse and final examinations. View the GEOL 105 course preview.
