Special course for candidates for advanced degrees in other departments. Fundamentals of grammar and reading of material of medium difficulty. Intended primarily for graduate students, but also open to seniors planning graduate study. Does not satisfy any part of undergraduate language requirement. Presupposes no previous study of French.
