Dr. Diane Frome Loeb is an Associate Professor of Speech-Language-Hearing: Sciences and Disorders at the University of Kansas. She earned her Bachelors and Masters of Science in speech-language pathology at the School of Medicine at the University of Nevada-Reno. Following her graduation, she completed her Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) as an itinerant speech-language pathologist in the public schools. After her CFY, she began her doctoral work at Purdue University specializing in children with specific language impairment. Her research interests are in the area of pronoun and verb development in children with typical language and children with specific language impairment, as well as measuring the efficacy of intervention programs for children with language impairments. She has authored journal articles and book chapters on these topics. She has taught Language Development as an on-campus course for a number of years.
