Beth Lagaron is a Ph.D. student in English at the University of Kansas. She earned a B.A. in English and Communication Studies from the University of Miami in 1999, an M.A. in English from the University of Kansas in 2003, and a Graduate Certificate in Women's Studies from the University of Kansas in 2005. Her areas of interest include twentieth-century American literature, women's studies, U.S. Latino/Latina literature, and literature of the Beat Generation.
