Robert Hohn

Robert Hohn was born and grew up in Valley Stream, Long Island, New York. He attended Ursinus College in Pennsylvania and Michigan State University where he received a Ph.D. in educational psychology in 1968. Since that time he has been at the University of Kansas in the Department of Psychology and Research in Education. He is a member of the American Educational Research Association and the American Psychological Association. Robert has published many articles on learning and teaching as well as the text, Classroom Learning and Teaching. He has also received research grants and made presentations at the national level on the topics of problem solving, concept learning, and teacher education. He teaches the undergraduate educational psychology course at KU. Bob has received several awards for his teaching, including the Gene Budig Teaching Professorship in 1996.
