How do I purchase my textbooks and e-readings?

Texts: For current prices and to order online, go to www.kubookstore.com. Or use the PDF version to print and mail in your order. You should receive your texts in 10–15 working days in a separate mailing from the KU Bookstore. If your textbooks have not arrived within three weeks after your order, please contact the bookstore. To purchase in person, visit the KU Bookstore on the Lawrence campus. Ask for assistance to locate the Independent Study section. E-readings: Some courses require the purchase of a digital coursepack. This will be noted within the textbook link of the course’s catalog description. Instructions for purchasing and accessing e-readings are provided in your course material enrollment packet. For further information, email Independent Study.

What materials are included with my enrollment fees?

Your materials fee includes your study guide, cover sheets, and any other course-related materials. Textbooks are not included in the materials fee. If your course contains a digital coursepack, you will be given purchasing instructions.

How and when do I receive my materials?

You should receive course materials within 7-10 days of enrollment. Materials will be sent to the mailing address provided on the enrollment form.
