Thomas W. Strganac is a professor of aerospace engineering at Texas A&M University. His research and engineering activities focus on aeroelastic phenomena, structural dynamics, fluid-structure interaction, limit cycle oscillations, and related nonlinear mechanics. From 1975 to 1989, Strganac was a research engineer at NASA’s Langley Research Center and an aerospace engineer at NASA’s Goddard Flight Space Center. Strganac is an Associate Fellow of the AIAA and a registered professional engineer. He received a B.S. degree from North Carolina State University and an M.S. degree from Texas A&M University, both in aerospace engineering, and a Ph.D. in engineering mechanics from Virginia Tech.
